![]() Our breeding philosophy at Grove Creek Farm is to produce a quality Paso Fino for the pleasure/trail market--a market which has been steadily growing since our introduction to the breed in 1983. From our experience, this market demands a naturally gaited, good-looking, people-loving horse with good size, ground-covering gait, and packaged in many pleasing colors! In order to produce this "perfect" horse, we have, first of all, gone to bloodlines known to produce these traits. Our bloodlines include Coral LaCE, Cantante de Omega, Singer, Majestuoso, Poquito Senor, Pegasus Estaban, to name the more predominant ones. |

Next, we provide the environment to produce that "perfect" pleasure/trail horse. Our foals are born naturally out on large pastures within a herd of broodmares. They can immediately get up and run and start building strength in their bones and muscles. They also learn valuable social skills and discipline as well within the herd. We provide the type of training that a pleasure/trail horse needs-out on the trails! Our facility consists of an indoor arena and, roundpens for year long training, but most importantly, 415 acres of pasture, woods, trails, creeks, ponds, cattle, wildlife, back roads-the natural pleasure training environment! Plus, we are a proponent of natural horsemanship techniques-training which utilizes a horse's psychology and administered with patience, firmness and respect for the horse. ![]() Finally, our breeding goal is to sell that "perfect" horse to a buyer who can count on us to educate them and provide them with after-the-sale help, advice, and friendship. We want the horse happy with its new home/owner and we want the owner happy with his/her new horse-forever! |
