The Paso Finos were chosen out of 673 horses at the Illinois State Junior Horse Show, July 11-14, to display the flag in the opening ceremonies of the Saturday evening Versatility finals.

Sangamon County Horsepower 4Her's, Megan Tibbs on Nueva Epoca de MiLe carried the flag and Lainey Monroe on Una Suerte de MiLe and Katrina Anderson on her Paint Blue, provided a striking contrast to the smooth ride of the Pasos as they rode in outrider positions.
